I go to Settings and there's no mention of an Offline Mode. On mobile, there's a section that says Playback and in that section are Offline Mode and Crossfade. On Desktop, it's only Crossfade. Where the heck is Offline Mode? Worst of all, when I turn my WiFi off my computer, I'm now listening to music Offline in the Spotify Desktop App. What
My spotify will not go online even though I have an internect connection on my desktop and it is not letting me listen to ANY of my music. I have tried logging out and logging back in, exiting the program, restarting my computer, almost everything. Get into the mobile Spotify SETTINGS . Go to PLAYBACK. From there look at the OFFLINE tab. I could be off--just tap it to go online. Keep in mind when you go online, you will use up alot of data. My advice to you is, get on a WIFI connection, then download the music you want; then listen to them in offline mode. Despite having 'Download over 2G/3G' set to On my Spotify on an Android mobile didn't attempt a connection this morning. Turning this setting and others off then on didn't cause it to connect. However, when I used some other data service on 3G (I used a web browser) it caused the data connection to start, and Spotify promptly went online too. To turn Spotify online go to the account control settings and look under the display section. There will be a status option that will allow you to show if you are online.
