Dynamic DNS w/ Azure Does anyone know how to setup the pfSense Dynamic DNS client with Azure such that an A record gets created for the domain root (as opposed to a subdomain)? I was able to make it work with an A record alias pointing at a subdomain (setup in Azure itself), but I can't get pfSense to update the correct record directly.
This comes as a result of a discussion in the pfSense forums. Here are the steps I took: First create an account at OpenDNS and set it up. You have to identify your network and create a profile before the DNS servers will respond. After that, go to System → General Setup → DNS Server Settings in the pfSense console. Add the DNS servers there:
